How would you like this stunning dress display?
I started by purchasing around £100 in dried fabric flowers and removing them off the stems to prepare them for gluing to the dress. The dress is is made in a size 2-3 yrs, a full circle dress, made from cotton with a mustard yolk and zipper back and netting for fullness. My first job was to start flower arranging to decide where the flowers will fit best to feature on the dress.
Flowers were bonded into place and took 3 days to fully dry.
Bridal veiling will be overlayed over the skirt to encase the flowers and give a soft dewy look.
Here is the finished table at www.ccmarkets.co.uk where i was trading for three consecutive days. Everyone loved the dress, the response was amazing. I'm now in talks with some prospective customers to make their flower girl dresses for their weddings next year, exciting times ahead.
The finished Dress
If you would like to come and visit me and my Christmas themed Display i'm heading back to Cathedral City Markets, Lemon Quay November 24th + 25th + 26th (3 days).
